By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches
— Proverbs 24:3-4

Bible Study meets on certain Tuesdays at 9:00am, depending on the season (call the church to confirm the schedule). Classes reflect our church’s progressive theology while engaging our Scriptures and other faith related literature. Classes are lively and differences of opinion are valued. Periodically, evening classes are conducted.

There are also forums held periodically after church relating to modern topics affecting our lives and world.

This winter, our Tuesday morning Bible study is stepping out of the Bible and stepping into a novel. January-March we will be reading and discussing Lamb: The Gospel according to Biff by Christopher Moore. This comedic account of Jesus’ childhood and ministry will help us to think creatively about our God’s time here on Earth.  There are several copies of Lamb available at the Riverside Public Library as well as very inexpensively available on Kindle through Amazon.
JANUARY 23: Opening through the end of Part 1
FEBRUARY 20: Part 2 through Part 4
MARCH: Part 5 through end
You are invited to bring a breakfast item to share. Enjoy reading and see you there!
