The Mission Board of the church has decided to begin a book club via Zoom which will read and discuss books about racism in America. With the police actions setting off protests which still continue across the country plus the Black Lives matter movement, among others, many people are becoming aware that many things need to change about how we address race in this country. As people of faith we need to get more involved by first educating ourselves and doing self exploration around our own biases and then looking at our role in pursuing justice and equality both as individuals and as a church community.
